Bellwether 2022 Digital Residency
Friday, September 9 – Thursday, September 15

I am an artist based out of Seattle, Washington. With a degree in Jewelry/Sculpture, I study themes of adorned spaces. I have shown internationally and was a featured artist at the Ireland Glass Biennale. My most recent feature is being a demonstrating artist at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Bornholm, Denmark. I was selected as an artist team within the community with Henry Jackson-Spieker to create a series of Public Art lanterns at the new development at Midtown Square in the Central Area. I have received several commissions through Seattle’s Office of Art and Culture, including an Emerging Together grant and commission for their FLOW project.

In February 2021, I received an Environmental Award from the Imagine Museum for work in their exhibition, Op Art/Glass. In the Fall of 2021 I was awarded a Hauberg Fellowship at Pilchuck Glass School. In late 2021 and early 2022 I was awarded two solo showcases of work at Seattle’s Method Gallery and Nathie Katzoff Gallery. In the Spring of 2022 I received a scholarship to continue my neon art practice at Pilchuck Glass School where I completed work for XO Seattle and Seattle’s Art Fair. In late Summer of 2022 I will complete a residency for the City of Bellevue. With over 9 years of professional experience, I have continued to work as a contract welder. Within this role, I teach fabrication and blacksmithing to the community at Pratt Fine Arts Center.
